I’m interested in how people change, and how that change can be intentionally evoked. As a learning engineer at Carnegie Mellon University, I design courses that help students in human-computer interaction gain specific skills effectively and efficiently. I’m just as interested in change on a larger scale: how institutions evolve, how communities learn, and how systems can redefine what’s possible. My academic roots are in political sociology, philosophy of education, and value theory — fields that ask how meaning, values, and power shape the way people learn and change. I’ve applied my curiosity about these questions in leadership roles at small organizations building something new. Before earning my master’s in educational technology and applied learning science, I founded a K-8 music lessons program that still serves ~70 students annually, started a local business alliance, and ran operations at a small solar installation company.

I’m on the hunt for my next project. If you think your organization would be a good fit, please get in touch.
